This policy explains what Bellbuoy collects, why, and who sees it. Bellbuoy is operated by Henosis Labs in Maine.
What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, brokerage, licence and MLS ids), through Henosis ID where you sign in that way. Transaction details: the property address, the effective and closing dates, the price, the day counts from the agreement, and what you tick off. The names and contact details of the people on the transaction, which you enter so they can be reminded. A record of every reminder sent, to whom and when. Standard server logs, and payment records Stripe keeps for us.
We do not store the contract itself.
How we use it
To work out the dates, to remind the person who owes each one, and to keep a record of what was sent. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your transactions to train anything.
Who sees it
The agent who created the transaction, and owners, admins and assistants on their team. A party you send a link to sees the schedule and the agent’s contact details, and nobody else’s. Service providers we use to run the service: our hosting and database provider, our email provider, and Stripe for payments.
People across Henosis products
So that a buyer you worked with last spring is recognised as the same person this spring, names, emails and phone numbers are matched against a shared record held by Henosis People. That record is scoped to your team: another brokerage using Henosis cannot see your clients, and you cannot see theirs.
Reminders to your clients
A buyer, seller or lender is only emailed when you have named them and switched reminders on. Messages come from your name and reply to you. Anyone can ask you or us to stop.
Retention
Transactions are kept while the account is active and for up to seven years afterward, reflecting typical real estate record-keeping requirements, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and no legal duty prevents it.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, close out or delete a transaction, switch off a client’s link, and close your account from inside the app or by emailing us. If you were sent a reminder by an agent using Bellbuoy, contact that agent, or us at the address below.
